Seadrill Code of Conduct

The Seadrill Code of Conduct is our guide for doing the right thing in business. It uses a principles-based approach covering health, safety and the environment; our people; our partners and suppliers; governments and communities; and protecting our assets.

Code of conduct
Our code applies to all employees and leaders and those we work with. The code is supplemented by policies and procedures and supported by online training courses for our employees to enhance understanding and compliance with the code.

We expect all our partners, suppliers, vendors and contractors to act in a way that is consistent with our code and we take appropriate actions where we believe that they have not met our expectations.

We evaluate risks and encourage an open and transparent way of working as the premise for trust and confidence.

Raising concerns

If anyone who works with us becomes aware or is concerned about a situation, reports can be made to:

  • The employee’s line manager
  • The Chief Compliance Officer
  • The Audit Committee
  • Our third-party integrity channel
  • We will investigate all concerns and have zero tolerance on retaliation in respect of any reports made.

Business Partner Code of Conduct
We expect our business partners to respect our values and the standards set out in this Business Partner Code of Conduct (‘Code of Conduct’) when working with, or on behalf of, Seadrill, and to have the same commitment to ethics, compliance and sustainability as we do ourselves. This Code of Conduct sets out principles that we believe are an integral part of such commitment.
