Liverpool Global Shared Services Center

Seadrill’s Global Shared Service Center has been based in Liverpool, England, since 2014. With a rich maritime history and global transportation connections, Liverpool provides support services for Seadrill worldwide. The Liverpool Shared Service offices provide Accounting, Finance, IT, HR and resources for Seadrill’s global presence, collaborating with Seadrill personnel offshore and onshore to create inspirational, innovative solutions that improve service delivery globally.

Houston Corporate Offices

Hosting Senior Management and our Legal, Corporate HR, Marketing, Treasury, Tax, Corporate Finance, HSE, and Governance teams – Houston, Texas is home to our corporate office. As well as supporting our teams onshore and offshore across the world, the office is just a short journey from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

A crucial role at Seadrill that ensures operations and rigs are ran safely and reliably, underpinning our vision of setting the standard of drilling. The team seamlessly integrates our operations with those of the customers, while creating new ways to solve problems by applying the latest technology. Forging partnerships both with stakeholders and external specialists, we make sure our IT delivers value for Seadrill and our customers at the highest level.

Accounting and accounts payables

Seadrill’s Accountants and accounts payable professionals take care of Seadrill’s global financial transactions. Staff enjoy working across local and global areas with opportunities to develop their careers throughout the wider business, including training towards qualifications.

Our HR team support our global onshore and offshore teams to ensure business objectives are delivered. Providing great business partnering is key to our approach, delivered by both HR generalists and Centers of Excellence. Operations, Technical Services and HSE
Operations, Technical Services and HSE

Our onshore Operations, Technical Services and HSE teams provide strategic guidance and leadership to support all offshore activities. Many of these leaders have come up through the ranks of offshore roles and bring experience to these demanding Operations positions. The roles include Rig Managers and Operations Directors. In Technical Services, these roles include subject matter experts in the realms of subsea and well-control equipment, maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems. Onshore HSE teams set global safety standards and deliver industry-leading safety trainings. Together, these onshore team members are critical for setting the standard in all Operations.

Our Supply Chain team operates globally to manage Seadrill's sourcing, procurement, and logistical needs, which are all integral parts of daily operations.

Legal
Legal

The Seadrill Corporate Legal Group provides legal services to the Seadrill Group of companies. This includes legal issues relating to Mergers & Acquisitions, joint ventures, finance agreements, drilling contracts, litigation and inter-company transactions. Globally and locally, our team of legal professionals advise on all legal matters, challenges and risk mitigations, and ensure that best legal practices are being adopted.
